The Friends of the Zurich James Joyce Foundation unterstützen. support us in many different ways. It is, for example, thanks to the Friends that the Foundation can invite two to four scholars per year to do research here at the Foundation (see Stipendien page).
One of those who received a scholarship for 2025 is Chris Wogan, who is currently working on a PhD project on trees in Joyce. Chris visited the Foundation in the spring 2025, but as his stay was very short, it was not possible for him to give a lecture on his project before returning to the UK.
We are therefore very pleased to announce that Chris will instead give a Zoom lecture, this coming Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 6.15 p.m. You can simply send us a short email if you’d like to attend Chris’s talk. We will then send you the required link.
