Step back in time with the Zurich James Joyce Foundation as we recreate the historic 1929 banquet celebrating the French translation of James Joyce’s literary masterpiece, Ulysses.
Join us at the James Joyce Restaurant & Bar on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 5.30 p.m. and enjoy a curated menu, authentic Irish music performed by Tale of the Gael, and other lively entertainment.
Experience this unique dining event for just CHF 125.– per person. Tickets are available on Eventbrite (from June 1, 2026) and include an apéritif, a multi-course menu (with vegetarian option), and mineral water.
The non-vegetarian menu comprises:
- Leopold pâté
- Toulouse-style veal quenelles (dumplings)
- Roast Bresse chicken
- New potatoes with butter
- Lettuce salad with mimosa garnish (hard-boiled egg)
- Assorted cheeses
- Garden strawberry tart
Note: A limited number of tickets at a reduced price of CHF 100.– will be made available for members of the Friends of the Zurich James Joyce Foundation.
