The Zurich James Joyce Foundation has been conducting weekly reading groups for many years. The aim is a thorough but leisurely and relaxed ramble through works by James Joyce, step by step, with comments and discussion. The readings are intended to bring out the vitality and humor of works from which many potential readers shy away but which others find absolutely addictive.
Our current reading groups are (see below for more information):
- Dubliners (English & German)
- Ulysses
- Finnegans Wake
All groups can be joined at any time. Newcomers are always welcome.
The Reading Groups are financed by the Friends of the Zurich James Joyce Foundation. You can support the Reading Groups by becoming a member of the Friends or by making a donation to the Foundation.
